Before surgery, it can be helpful to know about the lingerie and shaping options after recovery.

After surgery, the Berlei Bra & Soft Form is an important first step to recovery.

This is why we invite you to drop into the STUDIO. Before surgery, you can see and talk about lingerie and breast forms in the privacy of our fitting room. After surgery we can show you how to adjust and wear the Berlei Bra.

There is no obligation – just our genuine desire to offer support – but it can be better to call ahead to find a time when it’s not too busy.

Explanation: A Berlei Bra & Soft Form is included in the My Care Kit provided by Berlei and Breast Cancer Network Australia that is ordered by the Breast Care Nurse and delivered to ladies prior to surgery (Note: COVID-19 related supply issues may result in this bra being replaced with a $70 Gift Voucher that is only redeemable on the Berlei website).

After Surgery Support

The Berlei Bra provides the firm and even pressure around the chest that can aid swelling and soreness reduction.

Adjusting the padding in the Soft Form provides shape for 4-6 weeks as swelling reduces. When the chest feels firm a fashion bra and breast form can be fitted.

Scar Management

After sutures are removed and skin fully closes, 100% medical grade silicone ointment and sheets act as a protective barrier over scars, reducing water evaporation and helping stop excessive scar tissue build-up.
