Recovery Bras & Scars

Ladies undergoing a lumpectomy may be provided with one of two ‘complimentary’ recovery bras depending on the preference of the hospital, surgeon and/or Breast Care Nurse.

Berlei Bra Included in the My Care Kit provided by Berlei and Breast Cancer Network Australia that is ordered by the Breast Care Nurse and delivered to ladies prior to surgery (Note: COVID-19 related supply issues may result in this bra being replaced with a $70 Gift Voucher that is only redeemable on the Berlei website).

Recovery Bra Provided by Amoena and distributed to Breast Care Nurses so that it can be given to ladies prior to surgery.

These bras are issued by the Breast Care Nurse as a once off gift.

BreastCare stocks the Berlei Bra and a bra similar to the Recovery Bra.

If you are having difficulties obtaining a bra, or are unsure about the correct sizing, please contact the STUDIO.

Scar Management

After sutures are removed and skin fully closes, 100% medical grade silicone ointment and sheets act as a protective barrier over scars, reducing water evaporation and helping stop excessive scar tissue build-up.
