Alterations & Adjustments for Bras, Tops & Swimwear

If a BreastCare bra, top or swimsuit doesn’t quite match your body or breast shape, we can make the alteration or adjustment needed for it to suit your body.

For example:

Non-Underwire Fashion & Sports Bras

If the bra band is just too short or long, altering the band can give a good fit. If the bra straps don’t have enough adjustment for the bra band to sit just under the breast, we can alter the strap to achieve a good fit.

If a maximum support sports bra isn’t available in a pocketed cup, we can fit a pocket(s) for breast form, partial form or shaper.

Lymphoedema Compression Bras

The Lymph O Fit Lymphoedema Bra has a special raised node inner surface to promote lymph drainage. We can fit the matching pocket(s) so the chest area benefits from the node surface effect.

Singlet Tops with a Pocketed Shelf Bra

For ladies wanting to go flat, we can alter the padded cup to give that hint of shape needed to stop the cup puckering.

Pocketed Mastectomy Swimwear

If the mastectomy bather has a universal pocket size, a smaller breast may sit higher than the swim form. We can add a seam to the pocket to create a balanced breast line.

What’s the Cost and How are Alterations Done?

Our alteration and adjustment service applies for lingerie, shelf bra tops and mastectomy swimwear purchased from BreastCare WA.

In the Fitting Room, with the garment on, we will measure and/or pin the change(s) needed to correct the fit.

When the change is agreed, we will confirm if there is cost, and how long the work will take.
