Product Notes
The choice of sleeve, sleeve and separate gauntlet, or sleeve and separate glove can depend on the cover needed to extend beyond the area of treatment to avoid the risk of restriction that may aggravate swelling.
Separating the glove from the sleeve can provide flexibility when toileting or undertaking tasks where the glove may become soiled.
Review the product images to verify that the garment provides sufficient cover.
Talking to your Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist is the best way to determine the garment and frequency of wear that is appropriate for your circumstances.
With regular wear, manufacturer information suggests a maximum medical efficacy (performance life) of 6 months. This can increase when several garments are used in rotation. Washing, drying and resting a garment can improve performance.
A donner (see Related Products below) is an easier way to put on a sleeve. It also reduces the pinching or restriction that can trigger or aggravate swelling.

Measure & Size Notes
Measuring Tips
Measure to the nearest centimetre. Check for differences between the left and right sides if wearing two sleeves.
A flexible cloth tape is best. Alternatively, use non-stretch fabric or a belt, mark the size and then measure the length with a metal tape or ruler. Avoid string because it presses into the skin and flexible metal tapes because they wrap unevenly.
Having someone else measure is better. Stand, relax, then measure against the skin. Ensure the tape is wrapped firmly (but not tightly) around the arm.
Sizing Suggestions
Compression sleeve sizing varies between brands. Relying on an existing size can result in a sleeve that does not achieve a good fit.
Measuring your arm and then using the sizing chart is a better way to select the sleeve that matches the shape and size of your arm.
Whilst measurements are a better way to verify shape and size, sizing charts can be complicated to use.
If a measurement could apply for two different sizes or if measurement falls in different sizing rows, a fitting is a better way to determine if a standard sleeve can be used, or if custom sleeve is needed.
