Product Notes
Breast asymmetry may develop naturally, be noticeable after surgery (reconstruction, reduction, lift, implant removal or lumpectomy), or develop if breast size reduces after radiation.
The choice between a partial form or shaper is likely to depend on the need to add fullness and profile, correct flatness or shape, or lift the breast to create upper breast fullness.
Depending on the size of the breast, bra style can also play a role in balancing breast shape.
For first fitting after surgery or radiation, it is better to wait until breast swelling and soreness have reduced.
Wear and handling can degrade the shape and feel of a shaper and body shape changes can mean a different size, shape or profile is needed. This happens slowly and can go unnoticed. A bi-annual fitting review is a way to check if replacement is needed.
The symmetrical, rounded shape is better suited to fit over the front or side of the breast.
The shallower profile is used to correct less noticeable differences in breast shape.
