The Amoena Kalina Soft Underwire Bra has a two-section cup that lifts and separates the breasts giving you a more rounded breast shape with more definition. Its lace detailing has a more feminine appeal and the cup seams are less likely to show under a sheer top.

Is this bra comfortable to wear after breast surgery?

The Amoena Kalina Soft Underwire Bra is better for occasional wear when transitioning to fashion bras after breast surgery because the underwires can put pressure on breast incisions or tender parts of the breast or chest. It's more comfort over underarm incisions because it does not have any side stays.

Its lower underarm band usually covers a mastectomy incision, may sit on the tissue flap at the end of a mastectomy incision, and has the softer seams that are less likely to irritate lower lumpectomy or axillary clearance scars.

It has narrower straps that suit a top where the straps may show.

Does this bra retain underarm and back tissue?

It has a lower upward curving underarm band that may retains some underarm tissue and a narrower back band doesn't retain back tissue.
