The Amoena Eliza Soft Non Underwire Bra feels more comfortable when transitioning to fashion bras after breast surgery because it has a wider soft band, there are no underwires to press on breast incisions or tender parts of the breast or chest, and no side stays in the band to press on underarm incisions.

Its tapering lower underarm band usually covers a mastectomy incision, may sit on the tissue flap at the end of a mastectomy incision, and has the softer seams that are less likely to irritate lower lumpectomy or axillary clearance scars.

It has narrower straps suit tops where the straps may show.

Does this bra retain underarm and back tissue?

It has a lower underarm band that retains less underarm tissue and a narrower U-shaped back band that doesn't retain back tissue.
