The Amoena Kalina Padded Non Underwire Bra feels a little more comfortable when transitioning to fashion bras after breast surgery because there are no underwires to press on breast incisions or tender parts of the breast or chest, but the plastic side stays in the side band may press on underarm incisions.

Its tapering medium height underarm band usually covers a mastectomy incision, sits below the tissue flap at the end of a mastectomy incision, and has the softer seams that are less likely to irritate a lower lumpectomy or axillary clearance scar.

It has narrower straps with the option of vertical, halter neck and cross-over configurations to suit a range of different tops where the straps may show.
