Changing Breast Size, Breast Tenderness / Breast Pain
Changing hormonal levels during pregnancy can result in changes to breast size, shape and tenderness.
These changes can mean that your breasts will need better support and more encapsulation to reduce the movement that aggravates breast and nipple tenderness.
You may need to re-learn what works, especially if this is your first pregnancy. A STUDIO fitting provides the opportunity to try different styles and cup shapes and feel the difference before deciding.

When pregnant, a non-underwire fashion bra with higher cleavage and wider band and straps encapsulates and supports the breast, reducing daytime discomfort.
At night a comfort bra can reduce breast movement when changing position, lessening aggravation of tender breasts and nipples.
As natural breast size and shape changes there can be noticeable difference between a breast form or reconstructed breast.
If more noticeable, an adjustable Breast Form or Partial Form can be used. If less noticeable, pads may be an option.
During pregnancy, breast pads can be cooled, fitted in a cotton cover and worn in the bra to help ease breast discomfort.
Postpartum, to ease engorgement, they can used to warm the breast before expressing milk and cool the breast after feeding or expressing to ease pain or swelling.
