Research from the University of Newcastle (Australia) and University of Portsmouth (UK) suggests that sports bra comfort improves when the support rating is matched to the intensity of the activity.
Activity intensity has two parts: amount and suddenness. For example, changing from walking to running increases the amount of ‘up-and-down’ and ‘side-to-side’ (‘figure 8’) movement and playing hockey combines running with stopping that causes sudden ‘back-and-forward’ breast movement.
For larger breast sizes, a sports bra can be a comfortable everyday wear option because they are available in larger cup sizes than many fashion bras.

Sports bras tend to flatten the breasts, helping to disguise differences in breast size or shape.
Medium and maximum support styles have higher cleavages to increase breast encapsulation and cover upper breast or underarm scars. Wider straps give better shoulder comfort.
Bathers have a shelf bra that supports and holds the breast in the cup.
Bikini, one-piece and tankini styles are chlorine resistant, allowing them to be used at the pool and beach.
If unsure, enjoy the privacy and freedom of using a STUDIO fitting room to try different styles.
For more casual wear, tops with a supportive shelf bra and soft padded cups are an alternative to wearing a bra.
The singlet styling has a rounded neck line for better breast coverage, adjustable straps and comes in a range of colours.
A roll-on body adhesive can stop bra, clothing and bather straps from slipping off the shoulder.
Chlorine degrades swimwear fabric, seams and stitching. Used correctly, Rinse Aid can remove chlorine residue and smell after swimming in a chlorinated pool.

A corsetiere was a specialist in making and fitting what today are called lingerie and compression garments.
Their 'art' was founded on knowledge, experience, informed questioning and observation, and brought to life in the fitting room.
As specialist garment fitters, the 'art of the corsetiere' captures the essence of what we do - fit garments to the individual body shapes of men and women.
