Asymmetrical shape breast forms are suited to more intrusive mastectomies where there is unevenness in the chest or under the arm (axilla) after lymph node removal. They have more volume to one side to fill this unevenness.
Breast form profile is used to match the volume of the upper breast in the bra. This varies with individual breast shape, is not dependent on breast size, and tends to get shallower with age as breast tissue is lost.
Asymmetrical breast forms are only available in a fuller profile and this can affect how the breast form matches the natural breast.

A corsetiere was a specialist in making and fitting what today are called lingerie and compression garments.
Their 'art' was founded on knowledge, experience, informed questioning and observation, and brought to life in the fitting room.
As specialist garment fitters, the 'art of the corsetiere' captures the essence of what we do - fit garments to the individual body shapes of men and women.
